About
Veronica Ramsarat, O.D. is a New York Licensed optometric physician. She practices primary optometry with a focus on specialty contacts. Her areas of clinical interest include dry eye, scleral lenses, soft contact lenses, keratoconus, medically necessary contacts, myopia management, multifocal contact lenses, and specialty contact lenses. For myopia control she is certified with Paragon Vision and Coopervisions Brillant futures to provide FDA approved treatments for myopia management. She also has 6 plus years of extensive clinical experience with ocular disease and all stages of glaucoma. Dr. Ramsarat has and continues to co manage pre and post operative care for a variety of ocular surgeries. She currently works closely with some of New Yorks and New Jerseys top eye surgeons and specialist.
Dr. Ramsarat completed her undergraduate training at Long Island University and received her O.D. degree at Inter American University School of Optometry. She has interned in specialized practices such as NY lasik laser and Microsurgery institute, Kelly Vision Center, and Collazo Ophthalmology at Temple Health. She has also participated in service trips to Dominican Republic with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and the National optometric student association. She is fluent in English and medical Spanish.
